Client Success Manager – Client SuccessA lifelong resident of Illinois, Kimberly brings a diverse background to WebStrategies. She spent 16 years in a high school English classroom, selling teenagers a heavy dose of Shakespeare and advanced composition techniques. She left the classroom to run her own business for the next decade, learning marketing and social media skills as the platforms were developing.
She spent four years as the Director of Marketing for a nonprofit organization - promoting the organization through traditional marketing tactics, networking, and digital media. Under her direction, the organization more than doubled its annual revenue, which helped them provide clean drinking water to thousands of people in Sub-Saharan Africa.
While working with an ad agency that provided the org's digital ads, she became passionate about the possibilities of digital marketing, learning everything she could about the industry. Eventually, the agency that provided the nonprofit's digital marketing hired her, and over the next two years, she helped hundreds of clients grow their businesses. She says, "I'm absolutely fascinated by the possibilities of how digital ads can get the right message in front of the right people at exactly the right time." She remembers what it was like to be an agency client with big dreams, and she utilizes that experience, along with her vast experiences in sales and marketing to help her clients smash their goals.
Kimberly met her husband when they were both students at Southern Illinois University, and they have two grown children. When she's not helping her clients, you'll likely find her watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball, training for her next half marathon, or sharing a glass of wine with family and friends.
